Chadwick Martin

Chadwick has been in the automotive industry for over 15 years spending most of that time working closely with his father, the late Cornelius A. Martin, founder of the Martin Group.

A graduate of Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California, Chadwick received a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in International Business. He then attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California where he earned his Juris Doctor with honors. Upon completion of law school, Chadwick returned to the Martin Group as Director of Business Affairs. In 2010, he was promoted to President of the Martin Group.

His business and professional accomplishments have also been highlighted in the business section of Park City Daily News, Bowling Green, KY business section and the Dayton Daily News, Dayton, OH. Mr. Martin was also interviewed for a special section "40 Under 40" in the July 2012 issue of Automotive News featuring high-achieving dealership professionals under the age of 40. He was also the cover story for the August 2012 issue of Dealer Magazine.

In addition to the automotive industry, Chadwick has experience working in other business fields such as contract law, criminal law, family law, and the entertainment industry. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Comcast, and has been involved with community service for many years; NAACP, United Way, Teen Court and Habitat for Humanity.

David Alexander
Executive Vice President of Support Operations

David joined the Martin Group in April 29, 2002 as Vice President of Dealership Administration for the Saturn dealerships.  In 2006, he was promoted to his current position that also includes administrative responsibility for Co-Mar Aviation and the Motor Sports Division.  Licensed as a CPA in 1980, he was Chief Financial Officer for 17 years with the White Family Companies that included Chevrolet, Honda, Subaru, Jaguar, Porsche, Audi and Volkswagon dealerships.  Dave also serves as industry relations for the Martin Group.

Jeremy Snawder
Vice President of IT & Marketing

Jeremy joined the Martin Group in May 2001 as Production Coordinator for the in-house Marketing Department.  His extensive knowledge and understanding of IT, digital marketing, DMS systems, and networking led to various promotions cumulating in April 2011 when he began overseeing the in-house marketing team in his current position. With 20 plus years of experience at the Martin Group, he has been integral to major IT / telecom projects, digital marketing strategy, and dealership IT maintenance.

Matthew Sturdivant
Vice President of Fixed Operations

Matt joined the Martin Group in April 2018. He has been involved in the automotive industry for 20 years, and he brings a rich background of experience and knowledge to the team. He holds multiple automotive and business accreditations, and he has been the recipient of operations and service-focused accolades. Matt graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio, where he studied business administration and automotive technologies.

Jerry Starkey
Vice President of Special Projects

Jerry joined the Martin Group in September 1997 as Service Director of Martin Dodge Jeep Eagle and after only 2 months, was promoted to his current position.  Jerry came to the Martin team after working at the Oldsmobile Division of General Motors Service Operations for 30 years.  Prior to his position at Oldsmobile Division, he worked in dealership retail service departments in all areas including line technician.  Jerry brings vast dealership operations experience and is highly regarded in the automotive industry.

Leah McGee
Vice President of Finance & Administration

Leah joined the Martin Group in June 2013 as Controller for Martin Dodge Jeep Chrysler RAM. After taking on Controller responsibilities for our Nashville locations she was promoted to her current role in February 2021. Leah graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has worked in public accounting and held corporate controller positions for a bank holding company and beauty supply company.

Amber Martin
Business Development Director

Amber L. Martin oversees the Business Development division and continues the legacy of her father, Cornelius A. Martin, by serving as a second generation leader for our family-owned and operated enterprise. 

After graduating from Miami University, Amber relocated to Los Angeles to begin a second career in media entertainment. She has produced video content for NFL Alumni Organization,  W Miami Hotel, Harley-Davidson Bowling Green and other lifestyle brands. Upon completing NADA Dealer Academy, Amber advanced to become the West Coast Manager of Operations for Martin Management Group before stepping into her current position. 

Supporting and highlighting community through media and volunteerism are endeavors that Amber passionately pushes forward. Her work as a "NextGen" leader has been featured in NAMAD's Treads Magazine. Other honors included being an invited guest host on WNKY's BG Today Show and guest speaker for Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce.

  Brian K Briggs
VP of Operations Division 1 - Ohio

Brian graduated from Heidelberg University with a BS in political science and economics in 1991. He began working for Martin Management Group in August of 1998 as a sales consultant for Saturn of Dayton and throughout his 22 years with the company he has held a number of positions in variable operations from finance manager to General manager. 

Brian states the highlight of his career was opening the Kia of Beavercreek location where he still helps manage in addition to his other company responsibilities. 

He is married and resides in Dayton, OH. In his spare time he enjoys time with his grandchildren and 5 adult children.
 Jacob Behnke
Director of Operations Division 2

Jacob joined Martin Management Group in 2019 as the General Manager for Martin Dodge Jeep Chrysler Ram dealership in Bowling Green. Soon after he also became the General Manager of Martin Kia.  With the successes of those two dealerships he was promoted to Director of Operations for Division 2 including Nashville Subaru and Downtown Hyundai Genesis. Starting in the automotive industry straight out of high school, he has held positions such as Sales Consultant, Service Advisor, Sales Manager, General Sales Manager, and General Manager. When he is not working he enjoys volunteering at church and in the ministry as well as riding motorcycles and traveling with his wife.
